We are looking for

The successful candidate will have a proven aptitude for IT systems, have an eye for detail, be inquisitive, a natural problem-solver and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and customers to prioritise, understand and resolve problems, whilst upholding Medisoft’s reputation for quality and professionalism.  You must have tenacity and an eye for detail.


Your responsibilities

  • Locating, analysing, understanding and resolving problems such as performance bottlenecks, erroneous data or software bugs, and leading efforts to resolve them.
  • Debugging, querying, manipulation and optimisation of MS SQL databases.
  • Liaising with software development teams to agree fixed and workarounds.
  • Providing clear and timely updates on problem status.

Your qualifications

It would be beneficial to have:
  • Deep experience of MS SQL Server administration or development
  • Experience of Healthcare technologies such as HL7 and FHIR messaging
  • Experience of designing or supporting a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Interest in learning new technologies and techniques
  • Basic verbal and written French and/or German language skills
  • Education to degree-level or equivalent.

Your profile

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
  • Professional, clear, accurate and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in a Software support environment
  • Aptitude for problem-solving, using a range of IT knowledge and technologies in tandem with a tenacious and curious nature
  • Ability to analyse and understand software deployments, configurations, integrations, and how a range of technologies and components interact, even if these are unfamiliar, particularly in a Windows Server environment
  • Experience of scripting / coding / automation
  • Ability to prioritise support
  • Confidence to admit gaps in knowledge and to ask for information or guidance.
